MONSOON RETREAT
We
waken to a musical world—
Rainwater
pigtails
Spiraling
downward,
Bright
choral after a storm;
Tiny
gales, whistling ghosts;
Birds
warbling a capella,
Spherical
notes sliding down
Sides
of a glass of ice water.
