My body is a
slowing clock…
My
body is a slowing clock,
My
molecules tick to sleep.
God
is my watchmaker;
In
his pocket I wish to keep.
The
day winds to a close,
The
night springs awake.
Time,
a river, empties
Into
an eternal lake.
